Compatibility
VST3 and AU are generally compatible with all modern DAWs.

Mac Installation Guidance

Use the x86_64 .pkg installer if you have an Intel Mac (Core i5, i7, i9, etc.) OR if you are using older versions of DAWs, such as Ableton Live 10, 9, etc.

Use the arm64 .pkg installer if you have an Apple Silicon Mac (M-series chips, e.g. M1, M2, M3, etc) AND are using newer versions of DAWs (e.g. Live 11, 12).

If you aren’t sure, you can always start with one installer, and switch to the other one if something’s not working.
